Terms & Conditions

All products made by Cakey Bakey Doo are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

All cakes, fillings and frostings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform Cakey Bakey Doo prior to the confirmation of their booking, of any allergy / intolerance issues.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy / intolerance information, and accordingly Cakey Bakey Doo will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake.

All special dietary products are NOT guaranteed suitable for allergies, and are suitable for intolerances only.

All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration.

All our cakes, fillings and icing are made from scratch (except for Fondant).

All ingredients are sourced locally in Australia. 

Quotations are not bookings. Quotations are subject to availability. Cakey Bakey Doo reserves the right to amend the quotation (if required) prior to a confirmed order being placed. 

 At Cakey Bakey Doo, your orders are baked from scratch and hence a minimum of 3-4 weeks’ notice is required to ensure supplies are available. 

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold your date

Full payment required 14 days prior to the pick up / delivery

Full payment is required in case the pick up / delivery is less than 7 days from the booking date 

Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Cakey Bakey Doo will advise you if a delivery charge may be applicable, and this must be paid prior to the scheduled delivery. 

Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the Customer to store and care for the cake as per instructions provided by Cakey Bakey Doo.

If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, Cakey Bakey Doo will not be liable for any damages.

If instructions provided by Cakey Bakey Doo for the proper care and storage of the cake are not followed by the customer, any damages or issues arising from it, will not be the liability of Cakey Bakey Doo.

A pick up date and time will be agreed by both parties, and 60 minute window will be assigned for pick-ups. 

Cakey Bakey Doo reserves the right to use any image of a Product made by us for publication at a later date and for advertising purpose.

Cakey Bakey Doo will never use any image that is supplied by the Customer, without first obtaining the Customer’s permission.

Any names or references to customer names will be redacted unless we have the customer’s consent to use them for advertisement purposes only.

Cakey Bakey Doo should be mentioned ( @cakeybakeydoo ) and  tagged in social media posts where images of the cake have been published. A link to  https://www.cakeybakeydoo.com.au should be displayed clearly along with images that have been published to a website, magazine or other. 

It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the state of the product before leaving the premises.

Once the item has left the premises, the Customer has accepted the item as is, and is responsible to ensure that products gets to its destination safely and is stored as per instructions from Cakey Bakey Doo to achieve best results for taste and quality and to avoid any damage.

If a someone else will be collecting the cake on the Customer’s behalf, this party will be given all appropriate information that would have been given to the customer. Same conditions apply as if customer were to collect themselves. 

If, for any reason the event is required to be postponed, please contact Cakey Bakey Doo immediately.

The new date proposed will be subject to availability.

If, for any reason the event is required to be cancelled, please contact Cakey Bakey Doo immediately. Cancellations and refunds will be discussed on case to case basis.

Cakey Bakey Doo reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for orders cancelled or postponed without the appropriate communication.
